Rakesh Master Death: Sekhar Master Pays Tributes To His Guru Despite Differences, Here's Why They Parted Ways

Sekhar Master Attends Choreographer Rakesh Master's Funeral: Choreographer Rakesh Master, who breathed his last in Hyderabad due to sunstroke on June 18, was cremated on the evening of June 19. His funeral was attended by several of his students, Choreographers from the Tollywood film industry, and his fans.

Rakesh Master was 54 and he was a diabetic. After coming back from a shooting in Vishakapatnam, Rakesh Master was unwell. On June 18, he had blood in his stools and was rushed to a hospital where he was diagnosed with sunstroke and its complications. Within four hours after his admission, he was declared dead.

The entire industry and the Choreographers fraternity expressed grief, along with Rakesh Master's thousands of fans who took to social media to condole his untimely and sudden death.

Tollywood's most sought-after choreographer Sekhar Master, who was the student and assistant to Rakesh Master at first, came down to pay his final respects to his Guru Rakesh Master's mortal remains. He was accompanied by another successful Choreographer Jaani Master, who also was Rakesh's student.

What Is The Issue Between Rakesh Master & Sekhar Master?
Rakesh Master has gone unstable over a period of time and his YouTube interviews pay testimony to it. He was a selfless, extremely helpful, and compassionate person. He fed thousands of people throughout his lifetime and was considerate of his students. Among all of them, Rakesh Master developed an interest in Sekhar Master, who impressed the former with his commitment and dancing skills.

Sekhar Master's talent made Rakesh Master nurture him and help him get a stronghold in the industry. But they both fell apart and things went murky. Rakesh Master openly criticized and alleged that Sekhar Master had backstabbed him, although he took care of him like his own son.

In one of his earlier interviews, Rakesh Master said, "Ever since I took Sekhar under my wings as a dancer and assistant, I always had only Sekhar for everything. I took the responsibility of bringing him up in the industry. He was my family and my first wife left me because I was focusing more on Sekhar's career and helping him financially."

However, suddenly Sekhar master started ignoring me and today he is one of the closest people who betrayed me. He hid things from me and avoided me. That created gap between us. His mother accused me of trying to trap Sekhar.

He bought a flat, he didn't invite me, he invited all my students and others to his daughter's birthday but didn't invite me. When I called him, they spoke harshly. I liked him, like him even now but as much as I like him, I am very angry with him. 'Sekhar, I am leaving you, you live your life with guilt,' said Rakesh Master

I begged him to come see my father who is on his death bed but Sekhar didn't pay any heed. I decided to isolate myself from everybody including my son, daughter, and wife. Now, If I die, I don't want Sekhar to come and see my mortal remains."

In several interviews, Rakesh Master was verbally open about his differences with Sekhar Master, who never clarified the allegations.

Meanwhile, Ganesh Master, who is one of the most successful dance masters in Tollywood spoke on the occasion. While admitting that the Choreographer fraternity is in utter disbelief about his sudden demise, he spoke to the media.

He said, "Rakesh Master is our Guru. There are so many students of his who are now earning a good name and recognition for their work. Rakesh Master had a good heart and he always encouraged his students.

Ganesh Master further said, "All of us, his students, and Choreographers will speak about what to do and how to support Rakesh Master's family. He is liked by all of us in the industry and everybody will pitch in to do whatever they can."
