RRR,
the
movie
which
made
India
proud
and
set
a
record
at
the
prestigious
Academy
Awards,
is
back
in
the
headlines
with
an
enthusiastic
update.
The
movie
which
made
Jr
NTR
and
Ram
Charan
into
global
icons,
will
now
have
a
sequel.
SS
Rajamouli's
directorial
RRR
is
a
movie
that
took
the
entire
country
by
storm
when
it
was
released
in
March
2022,
worldwide
in
five
languages.
The
movie's
reign
and
supremacy
were
unmatched.
As
if
that
is
not
enough,
the
film's
country
folk
song
'Naatu
Naatu,'
which
was
meant
to
be
a
feast
for
the
fans
of
respective
actors,
went
on
to
win
the
'Best
Original
Song'
Award
at
the
Oscars.
Rajamouli,
who
made
Prabhas
an
international
figure
successfully
took
Ram
Charan
and
Jr
NTR
to
the
same
place
by
making
himself
a
name
to
reckon
with.
An
interesting
update
of
the
film's
sequel
has
finally
come
out.
According
to
the
update,
writer
Vijayendra
Prasad,
Rajamouli's
father
was
quoted
saying
to
India
Today,
"We
are
planning
to
make
a
sequel
to
Ram
Charan
and
Jr
NTR's
RRR.
The
movie
will
feature
both
stars
and
be
made
to
Hollywood
standards.
A
Hollywood
producer
is
likely
to
be
roped
in
for
this
film.
The
movie
will
be
directed
by
SS
Rajamouli
or
someone
under
his
supervision."
He
added,
"At
first
we
didn't
make
RRR
to
have
a
sequel
but
when
the
topic
came
up
again,
my
cousin-who
is
also
a
part
of
my
core
team-gave
an
idea
which
we
felt
like,
'Oh
my
God,
this
is
a
great
idea.
This
is
the
idea
that
is
worth
pursuing."
In
addition
to
the
RRR
sequel,
Rajamouli
will
also
likely
work
on
one
of
his
dream
projects,
making
the
epic
Mahabaratha,
a
feature
film.
Meanwhile,
SS
Rajamouli,
who
announced
a
globe-trotting
adventure
drama
with
superstar
Mahesh
Babu
is
involved
in
the
extensive
pre-production
works
for
the
film
referred
to
as
SSMB
29.
The
film's
key
unit
and
cast
are
going
to
take
part
in
a
three-month-long
workshop
that
will
begin
in
September
this
year,
reportedly.
