Ramabanam Day 1 Box Office Collection: Gopichand-Jagapathi Babu's Family Drama Gets A Decent Start!

Macho star Gopichand starrer family entertainer Ramabanam, which marks the third collaboration of Sriwass and Jagapathi Babu, hit the screens on May 5. The movie was reviewed as a routine drama with no freshness. The response was lukewarm.

Ramabanam was reviewed as an outdated commercial pot boiler with no impact and story. After Lakshyam and Loukyam, fans of the actors-director expected an entertainer in the summer but the movie has nothing to offer.

Ramabanam Day 1 Box Office Collection

On the first day of its theatrical release, Gopichand's Ramabanam collected about Rs 2.50 Crore at the box office within India. The occupancy ratio for the morning shows is 18.72 percent and towards the end, it cropped up to 20.61 percent.

Ramabanam Cast

The Gopichand-starrer features actress Dimple Hayathi as the female lead. In addition, veterans like Jagapathi Babu, Khushbu, Ali, Tarun Raj Arora, Nasser, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Sachin Khedekar, Kasi Vishwanath, Vennela Kishore, Satya, Sapthagriri, and Getup Srinu among others in key roles.

Directed by Sriwass, Ramabanam is a TG Vishwa Prasad production venture under the People Media Factory banner. Prawin Pudi worked as the film's editor and Mickey J Meyer composed the film's entire sound and tunes. Vetri Palanisamy cranked the camera while Bhupathi Raja wrote the film's story.

Ramabanam was released on all over 840 plus screens worldwide. The film's business was valued at Rs 14.50 Crore and the target to achieve break-even was Rs 15.20 Crore.
