'Rana Naidu' Trailer: Netizens Have Several Complaints About This Web Series Starring Rana Daggubati-Venkatesh

The trailer of Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati-starrer web series 'Rana Naidu', which is the OTT debut of the popular south-Indian actors, was released recently. The dark-action drama series will stream on Netflix from March 10.

As soon as the trailer was released, the Daggubati fans, who are eager to watch the amazing chemistry and bond between Venkatesh and Rana started to share and react to the trailer. Sadly, the much-awaited series' trailer came across as a disappointing fair to the fans of Venkatesh.

Although the content is quite intriguing, the dubbing, makeover, and other aspects concerning Venkatesh's characterization didn't go down well with the fans. They lamented about the veteran actor's styling, dubbing, dialogues, etc.

In addition, this is the first time for Rana and Venkatesh to come together on screen amid huge expectations. Rana's other cousin Naga Chaitanya had already worked with Venkatesh in 'Venky Mama', an average film at the box office.

Rana Naidu is a crime drama based on Ray Donovan, created by Karan Anshuman. The plot has Rana playing the character of Rana Naidu, a troubleshooter, and go-to for Bollywood celebrities. He, who is depicted as someone who built an empire on his own is a son of Naga Naidu, played by Venkatesh. He and his son do not get along well as Rana believes that Naga will destroy families and relationships.

Naga is shown released from jail before the term, much to the distress of Rana. They always are at loggerheads abusing each other with foul language. The series also features Gaurav Chopra, Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajni Basumatary, Adhitya Menon, and Tenzin Dalha among others.

The multi-language web series has dialogues written by Vaibhav Vishal. Karmanya Ahuja, Anany Mody, BVS Ravi, Vaibhav Vishal, and Karan Anshuman have written the script. BVS Ravi worked on the series screenplay. The story was rendered by Ananya Mody and Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman directed the series. Sangeet-Siddharth composed the music.
