Rangabali Box Office Collection Day 1: Naga Shaurya-Sathya's Chemistry Couldn't Save This Comedy-Drama

Naga Shaurya-starrer Rangabali, a comedy-action drama written and directed by Pawan Basamsetty hit the screens all over the world on July 7. Upon its theatrical release, the movie was reviewed as a run-of-the-mill action film.

The actor has been struggling to score a decent hit at the box office although he has a great image and decent hits in his career. Of late, Naga Shaurya's choices are meeting with negative results at the box office.

Rangabali is said to have good comedy in the first half of the movie but in the second half, where the actual story plays out, fell flat with no substance.

Rangabali Story

Shaurya (Naga Shaurya) is a wayward youth who likes to live in his village, Rajavaram. His father runs a medical shop and is worried about Shaurya, who takes nothing seriously. Shaurya ends up at the medical college and meets Sahaja (Yukti Thareja) with whom he falls in love. A centre in his village named Rangabali and MLA Parasuram (Shine Tom Chacko) emerge as an obstacle to his love and life. What happens next is to be seen on the big screen.

Naga Shaurya's film on its opening day made about Rs ... Crore, due to a negative or mixed response from film critics and movie buffs. The occupancy ratio was also rather low towards the end of the day.
