Anchor Rashmi Gautam is a household name in the two Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. She has taken the small screen by storm with her hosting skills, beautiful looks, and chirpy expressions.

Although she was part of several television serials and some films before, Rashmi rose to stardom after appearing in the most popular and infamous comedy show Jabardasth. Rashmi then came to be known as anchor Rashmi. Her pairing up with comedian-turned-anchor Sudigali Sudheer gave her another level of image.

Rashmi is hosting Extra Jabardasth and Sridevi Drama Company on Etv as of now. As part of the Sridevi Drama Company show's task, yesteryear actress Indraja, who is one of the judges on the comedy show asked Rashmi why she didn't make it big in the film industry although she enjoys a super fandom.

Rashmi made a revelation about the same, saying, "I was offered several roles and I agreed to them too. But surprisingly, overnight I got replaced. I still don't know the reason."

Anchor Rashmi further added, "Some actors are usually stereotyped and restricted to an image like hero's sister, heroine's friends, etc. Similarly, people have this opinion of me like I am only fit for being an anchor."

On the contrary, Anasuya, who also got popular through the same Jabardasth show is now busy with several movies which are on the set. She also has many in her pipeline. Irrespective of this, Anasuya and Rashmi Gautam are good friends.
