Ravanasura Day 1 Box Office: Ravi Teja's Latest Crime Thriller By Sudheer Varma Opens Amid Huge Expectations

Mass Raja Ravi Teja has hit the screens with another comedy thriller titled 'Ravanasura', written and directed by Sudheer Varma. The movie was released all over the world on April 7, to a mixed response. The fans of the actor are happy with the movie while critics reviewed the film as a routine revenge drama with some cringy dialogues.

Ravanasura depicts Ravi Teja in his usual self doing over-the-top performance. He is a killer who does comedy. The story is a old wine, but the characterization of Ravindra is unfolded in a slightly different way.

Ravanasura is a story about a criminal lawyer Ravindra, who targets and kills certain people with a modus operandi. ACP Hanumantha Rao (Jayaram) is assigned the case to nab the criminal. He easily cracks the criminal by identifying a pattern but even after confrontation, he couldn't prove it. Why is Ravindra doing these murders? What did Hanumantha Rao do? are answered on the big screen.

On the release day, Ravi Teja's action comedy earned a decent Rs 5.5 Crore from all over India. The occupancy ratio was about 50 per cent and increased towards the end of the day.

Along with Ravi Teja, Ravanasura stars Sushanth, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Jayaram, Hyper Aadi, Sriram, Daksha Nagarkar, Pujita Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Navya Swamy, Harsha Vardhan, Praveen, and Mandava Sai Kumar in key characters.

Coming to the film's technical team, the cinematography of Ravanasura was handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan. GK Vishnu cranked the camera for a song. Naveen Nooli worked as the editor. Harshavardhan, Rameshwar, and Bheems Ceciroleo. Ravi Teja and Abhishek Nama produced the movie under the Abhishek Pictures banners. Srikanth Vissa co-wrote the movie with director Sudheer Varma. The movie is made on a budget Rs 50 Crore
