Mass Raja Ravi Teja has hit the screens with another comedy thriller titled 'Ravanasura', written and directed by Sudheer Varma. The movie was released all over the world on April 7, to a mixed response. However, due to no other Telugu film to compete with, the movie had a passable weekend. Ravi Teja's performance is the key feature of Ravanasura that pulls crowds to theatres.
Ravanasura is a story about a criminal lawyer Ravindra, who targets and kills certain people with a modus operandi. ACP Hanumantha Rao (Jayaram) is assigned the case to nab the criminal. He easily cracks the criminal by identifying a pattern but even after confrontation, he couldn't prove it.

Ravanasura stars Anu Emmanuel, Faria Abdullah, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar, Navya Swamy, and Pujita Ponnada as the female lead characters. Along with them, the movie also features Rao Ramesh, Jayaram, Sushanth, Sriram, Hyper Aadi, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Praveen, and Harsha Vardhan in pivotal roles.
The film's cinematography was handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan. GK Vishnu cranked the camera for one song. Naveen Nooli worked as the film's editor. Harshavardhan, Rameshwar, and Bheems Ceciroleo composed the film's entire background score and tunes.
