Ravi Teja’s Ravanasura Turns Out To Be A Major Box Office Disaster; Huge Loss For Producer

Well, it looks like Tollywood Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's Ravanasura is heading towards a disaster at the box office. Though the film has been running in the cinema halls for more than weak, the film still hasn't touched the Rs. 20 crore mark in India. In fact, the film has merely touched Rs. 11 crore after seeing an underwhelming footfall in the cinema halls. So far, the film has managed to collect Rs. 11.81 crore in India, which is a huge setback for an actor like Ravi Teja, who has a strong fan base across the globe.
Negative word of mouth reviews
Ravanasura hit the theatres on April 7 amid huge expectations. But the film received negative reviews from fans and critics alike. The film, touted to be an action entertainer, had an eventful opening weekend. But it saw a steep drop over the weekdays, which did not recover during the next weekends, as well.
Budget of Ravanasura
It is reported that Ravanasura was made on a high budget of Rs. 50 crore. While the makers have not officially shared its budget if this report about the budget bears any truth, the film is indeed a huge disaster to the producers, as it has not even collected half of its budget from the theatrical run.
Know more about the movie

Apart from the Mass Maharaj, the film also features Jayaram, Sushanth, Murali Sharma, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar, and Pujita Ponnada in pivotal roles. Performance of Ravi Teja's previous movies
