Upasana Kamineni Talks About Pregnancy, Ram Charan's Role, Etc: RRR star Ram Charan is soon going to welcome his first child with wife Upasana Kamineni. On June 14 this year, the couple celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary.

While this year's anniversary is quite special, the soon-to-be parents are ushering in the most precious phase of their lives together and are joyous than ever.

Ram Charan-Upasana To Welcome First Child After 11 Years Of Marriage

On the occasion, Upasana, who is otherwise a busy bee has spared some time to talk elaborately on her pregnancy, new life, parenthood, and the challenges that she is looking forward to.

As per a report published in TOI, when Upasana was questioned about the nine months of her pregnancy and how her work was affected, the actor's wife was quoted saying, "It was overwhelming but I am also extremely grateful for two things. Firstly, the universe has given us so many opportunities in the past many months with the Golden Globes, then the Oscars and with us travelling together for it to places.

Secondly, I am grateful for my little baby, who is about to come. Our baby has been so cooperative and didn't bother me too much during my travels. I don't think it's about slowing down; this whole journey has taught me how to prioritize and organize my life more. It is something that I have mastered, and I hope that this exercise will help me in the years ahead because a lot is about to change in my life."

Upasana Talks About Their First Reaction To Pregnancy News

Upasana also spoke about how she and Ram Charan reacted to the news that they are pregnant. She shared, "When I told him that I think I am pregnant, he said, 'Don't get too excited, calm down.' Once we repeated the tests and we knew that all of them were fine, that's when he celebrated. That is what I admire the most about Ram, he's the calming factor in my life, while I am the more excited one. I love to express my feelings; he does it calmly in his own way.

Parenthood Plans

Speaking about parenthood plans, Upasana also mentioned that they are now living separately but want to move in with Ram's parents once they deliver the baby. We want our baby to be around grandparents and don't want them to be deprived of what we enjoyed. So, we have taken a conscious call to move back with his parents and raise the child together. Having their support is extremely important as we are both working professionals, added she.

Ram Charan's Paternity Leave

Meanwhile, Ram Charan is said to have taken a break from his work to ensure that he is through and through with his heavily pregnant wifey Upasana, in this crucial and most exciting phase of their lives. Reportedly, Ram Charan will be on a break for about three months or until the work of his next film kick starts.

Ram Charan's Work Front

The actor is currently working for director Shankar Shanmugam's bilingual and his Telugu debut titled Game Changer. The film's title and first look were revealed recently to an amazing response from the mega fans.

In addition, the actor will star in Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana's directorial, a sports-based drama, which will go on the sets from September this year.
