RRR For Oscars: Jr NTR Makes Interesting Comment, Says 'I'm Not Gonna Walk The Red Carpet As An Actor But...'

The big day for Oscars 2023 is just another night away and the Tollywood Young Tiger Jr NTR is there in Hollywood doing a round of interviews with entertainment channels back-to-back. After a whirlwind of Ram Charan's podcasts and interviews, Jr NTR, who landed in the city of stars a bit late due to other commitments is busy ahead of the red carpet day.

Speaking at one such interview with the Editorial Producer and Digital Correspondent of Entertainment Tonight (ETNow), Ash Crossan, Jr NTR revealed his plans and shared his feelings about making it big.

When Crossan asked Jr Ntr,' How does it feel like Academy Award Nominee to the list of actors?", Tarak replied with a loud laugh and began "What else could an actor ask for, what else could a filmmaker ask for, to be a part of the biggest celebration of cinema, globally- the Oscars."

Jr NTR further elaborated, "For that day, when we're gonna walk the carpet, I think we are not gonna walk as actors of RRR, I'm not gonna walk as actors of RRR, I'm not gonna walk as an actor of the Indian film industry, I'm gonna walk as an Indian, with pride filled in my heart, carrying the nation in my heart."

Fans of the actor are thrilled about his Oscars debut and this answer made the country proud. However, RRR's creator and director SS Rajamouli proudly presented the film as not a south-Indian film but a Telugu film, on the international platform. Several people belonging to the north-Indian region had put forth their disappointment for the same.

Jr NTR's Work Front

Jr NTR will return to India to quickly start working on Koratala Siva's NTR 30, in which he will be seen romancing Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor. The movie will go on floors without any delay. Later, Jr NTR will join hands with KGF director Prashanth Neel for NTR 31.
