RRR Star Ram Charan Meets Zanjeer Co-star Priyanka Chopra & Family At South-Asian Excellence Pre-Oscars Party

RRR star Ram Charan who is in the United States to attend the Oscars ceremony met his old friend and co-star Priyanka Chopra who is now a celebrated star in Hollywood.

Priyanka Chopra hosted a party 'South Asian Excellence' for the Oscar nominees from the South Asia region in Los Angeles at her house. His co-star of 'Zanjeer', Ram Charan along with his wife pregnant wife Upasana joined the party. The couple posed for several pictures together with Priyanka Chopra and her family including Nick Jonas' parents. However, Nick Jonas was missing from the pictures.

Taking to her social media handle, Upasana shared a set of pictures and thanked Priyanka Chopra. Upasana called her 'LA familia.' "Thank you for always being there for us," she wrote.

Earlier when the RRR team won laurels at the Golden Globe Summit for 'Best Original Song' category for 'Naatu Naatu' song, Priyanka appreciated the team and took part in an event along with director SS Rajamouli, stating that this is the least she could do to her people from India.

In the posted pictures, Ram Charan and Upasana were seen posing with Priyanka Chopra, her in-laws, and Hollywood-based producer Swathi Shetty at the party. In one of the group photos posted by her, Upasana was seen holding Priyanka's pet dog, Diana Chopra Jonas.

Priyanka Chopra played the female lead in Ram Charan's Bollywood debut film Zanjeer, an action thriller released in 2013. It was a remake of
Amitabh Bachchan's 1973 blockbuster Zanjeer. The film tanked at the box office. Priyanka Chopra made her Telugu debut through the film.
