Varun Tej - Lavanya Tripathi Engagement: Tollywood's rumoured lovebirds Varun Tej and actress Lavanya Tripathi are finally going to take the plunge. The couple is reportedly planning to get engaged next month.

Varun Tej, who is actor-producer Nagababu's son and Chiranjeevi's nephew, is 33 years old. Lavanya, who is born in Faizabad and brought up in Dehradun, is 32. The duo had worked on a film titled 'Antariksham' and even before that film hit the screens, were rumoured to be seeing each other.

Varun Tej and Lavanya first collaborated for Srinu Vaitla's 'Mister' in 2016. Later they joined hands for 2018's Antariksham 9000 KMPH. The couple always hit the headlines after being spotted together at events and with friends. They neither confirmed nor denied that they are lovers. However, when Varun's sister Niharika Konidela got hitched, Lavanya was present throughout all the events at Varun's house and at Udaipur, where the wedding took place.

Lavanya made her acting debut and became an overnight star with her 2012 film 'Andala Rakshasi.' She later starred in several movies in with star heroes and gained a decent fanbase. She was last seen in a female-centric film, a sci-fi thriller 'Happy Birthday' in which she played a double role. She will be next seen in Thanal, which could probably be her last film before the D-day. The movie is in the post-production phase.
