The highly-anticipated biggest action entertainer starring Prabhas, the pan-India star under the direction of Prashanth Neel, Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire is bucked up for an extraordinary and never-before bonanza at the silver screen all over the world. The movie funded by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films is going to hit the screens in five languages at a time on December 22.

Salaar Premise

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire is the story set against the backdrop of a fictional kingdom called Khansaar. It is the tale of two best friends from childhood, who grow old to become the worst enemies. The story was so big that the writer-director chose to elaborate it in two parts. Deva aka Salaar and Varadaraj Mannar's story of friendship, trust, sacrifice, and vengeance is all about Salaar.

Salaar Cashes In The Christmas Holiday Weekend

However, Salaar is continuing to wreak havoc at the box office in and outside the country during this Christmas vacation coupled with the long weekend. The patronage is increasing in the Hindi-speaking regions after the first weekend with a doubled occupancy ratio. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki has been getting a lukewarm response, which benefitted Salaar.

Salaar stars an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Shriya Reddy, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Ramacharandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.

Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music. Vijay Kiraandur bankrolled the movie under the Hombale Films banner, which earlier produced blockbuster hits like Kantara, KGF Chapter 1, and KGF Chapter 2 among others.
