Salaar Box Office Collection Day 5 WorldWide: Prabhas’ Film To Cross Rs 500 Crore Mark; Creates New Record

Prashant Neel's recent directorial Salaar has been one of the biggest releases of the year and has managed to set the box office on fire. The action thriller, which features Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in key roles, has opened to rave reviews from the audience and critics.

The movie has been doing wonders at the box office not just in India but across the world. It started its box office journey with a collection of Rs 90.7 crores and managed to cross Rs 100 crores on the second day. In fact, it also managed to enter the coveted Rs 200 crores club during the opening weekend and is now inching towards Rs 300 crores mark. Interestingly, Salaar is going strong at the worldwide box office too and started the journey with a collection of Rs 175 crores on the day of release.

According to a tweet shared by film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Salaar has managed to rake in Rs 400 crores worldwide in four days of release and is all set to enter the coveted Rs 500 crores mark today (day 5/ First Tuesday). Interestingly, if the reports turned out to be true, Salaar will become one of the fastest Telugu movies to cross the mark. To note, Baahubali 2 has been fastest Telugu film to cross Rs 500 crores mark globally. It will be interesting to see the other records created by Salaar in the coming days.

To note, Salaar has been witnessing a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan's much anticipated Dunki which has opened to decent reviews. In fact, Dunki is likely to cross Rs 150 crores mark by tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how long Dunki will be able to survive during Salaar mania.
