Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire, the storm featuring pan-India star, the Darling Prabhas is just two days away from its thunderous box office bonanza worldwide. The movie written and directed by the epic filmmaker of the KGF series, Prashanth Neel, is releasing on December 22 in five languages. The expectations for Salaar rose 10 times after the makers dropped the final punch theatrical trailer.

As soon as the advance ticket bookings opened in Hyderabad, after the price hike approval, there was a literal shattering of all the box office records so far. Prabhas' film's tickets went sold out within a swish for as many as 153 shows panned around Hyderabad city, making a gross of Rs 2 Crore. The booking rate was 90 %. Check out the tweet below.

On the other hand, Salaar is marching ahead to set new benchmarks and re-create history with its advance booking sales all over India, the USA, the UK, and Australia, etc where the Indian population are slightly higher. Meanwhile, the distributors of Shah Rukh Khan's Dunkee are expressing concern over clashing with Prabhas-Prashanth Neel's Salaar at the box office, reportedly.

Salaar Premise

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire is the story set against the backdrop of a fictional kingdom called Khansaar. It is the tale of two best friends from childhood, who grow old to become the worst enemies. The story was so big that the writer-director chose to elaborate it in two parts. Deva aka Salaar and Varadaraj Mannar's story of friendship, trust, sacrifice, and vengeance is all about Salaar.

The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.

The movie was produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.
