It is just a matter of a few hours until the much-hyped and anticipated release of the year, pan-India star Prabhas' heavy-duty action entertainer Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire to ignite at the big screens worldwide. The Prashanth Neel directorial is ready to set the box office ringing and is going to re-create history by pushing the boundaries thereby setting a new benchmark.
Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire is going to be released in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam on December 22 to a thumping response through its premiere shows and pre-sales. The frenzy around its theatrical release is a real deal.
The two-part film is going to be a massive hit in the careers of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel just like Baahubali 2 and KGF Chapter 2, respectively. The story of the friends turning enemies was told with an effective screenplay, and a technically brilliant and peculiar style of the director, complimented with a haunting background score and music.
Salaar Premise
Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire is the story set against the backdrop of a fictional kingdom called Khansaar. It is the tale of two best friends, who grow up to become the worst enemies. They share a unique bond as children and towards the end of the first part, Deva declares war against Varadaraj Mannar, his best friend. Who is Salaar? Are Deva and Salaar different? What caused right between the friends?
The story was so big that the writer-director chose to elaborate it in two parts. Deva aka Salaar and Varadaraj Mannar's story of friendship, trust, sacrifice, and vengeance is all about Salaar.
Salaar's Closing Collection Prediction With Positive Talk
If the word-of-mouth is positive for this action drama for which Darling star Prabhas toiled for three-long years along with the film's cast and crew, there is no doubt the movie would end up becoming the highest grosser in the south-Indian films ever made, worldwide.
Given the pre-release business Salaar had done ahead of its theatrical release, the movie is expected to make a staggering of Rs 1200 Crore and above. These are just speculations based on the average openings that the movie is going to earn worldwide and if it continues the streak of highly positive reviews.

The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.
The movie was produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.
