Prabhas, the Darling star is gearing up to create history by collaborating with epic director Prashanth Neel. The first installment of the much-hyped action-thriller Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire is currently in the last leg of its post-production work.

Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, Prabhas' Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire is expected to put Prabhas back on his success track, following several debacles.

Now that the mammoth-scale theatrical release is about a month and a half away, the makers of Salaar decided to keep the fans hooked to the movie by releasing several promotional material which includes the film's songs, theatrical trailer, etc.

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire is going to hit the screens worldwide on December 22 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The makers have announced that the Kerala distribution is by Prithviraj Productions, Prithviraj Sukumaran's banner.

Salaar's runtime is locked for 2 hours and 50 minutes. There are only two songs in the film and the second half is a thorough action extravaganza, reportedly.

Netflix Shells Out A Whopping On Salaar OTT Rights

According to the available information, while it is already a known fact that OTT giant Netflix India bought the digital streaming rights of Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire for a whopping, the latest revelation of the price is making the fans excited.

Reportedly, the digital streaming rights are secured for a mammoth of Rs 160 Crore. The final formalities of the sale agreement have been closed and it is now a deal with Hombale Films.

The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.

The movie was produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.
