Salaar OTT Release Date, Platform & Time: Prabhas, the pan-India star is one actor who is admired and celebrated by all the movie lovers and fans of other actors. His latest, Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire finally opened to the fans, audiences, and film buffs on December 22 in five languages.

Although he entered the Telugu film industry with a big family background, Prabhas became a star by impressing the audiences and fans not only with his acting chops but also with his benevolent character and loving attitude. The actor, however, is known for his action films and mass image, a striking contrast.

Prabhas-starrer 'Salar: Ceasefire' film is getting a super good talk from the premieres. Bookings for these movie shows are increasing everywhere worldwide for the weekend and it is sure going to be a busy box office until New Year's Day and might even extend till Sankranthi 2024. While 'Salar: Ceasefire' is wreaking havoc in theatres, the digital streaming details of this movie have recently hit the headlines.

Netflix Buys Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire Digital Rights

Ahead of the theatrical release, the movie has done a great pre-release business including its satellite, music, and OTT rights. Accordingly, the digital streaming platform giant Netflix India bought the rights to stream the movie in multiple languages for over Rs 100 Crore, reportedly.

News has also been recently leaked that the makers of Rebel Star Prabhas-starrer 'Salar: Siegefire' have signed an agreement with Netflix to stream it on OTT within 45 days of its theatrical release. It means that the movie 'Salar' which was released on December 22 will be streaming in the second week of February, tentatively.

Salar: Ceasefire is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Productions. Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran played key roles in the movie which also features a plethora of other actors.

Salaar Premise

Raja Mannar (Jagapathi Babu), the ruler of Khansaar wants to make his son Vardharaja Mannar aka Vardha (Prithviraj Sukumaran) his successor. An internal coup tried to kill Vardha by deploying armies from countries like Russia and Serbia to collapse the entire Khansaar along with Vardha. Vardha eventually escapes the attack and meets with Deva, his childhood best friend. Deva jumps into action to settle scores for his friend.

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire Cast

Prabhas played the role of Devaratha aka Deva, who is also Deva Salaar. Prithviraj Sukumaran was seen in a dual role as Vardharaja Mannar and Siva Mannar. Shruti Haasan played the role of Aadhya Krishnakanth, Deva's love interest. Jagapathi Babu as Raja Mannar, Bobby Simha as Bhaarava, Tinnu Anand as Gaikwad, Ramana as Rinda, Easwari Rao as Deva's mother, Sriya Reddy as Radha Rama Mannar, Vardha's sister, Ramachandra Raju as Rudra have played their characters to perfection with ease. In addition, the movie also stars Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Brahmaji, Shafi, Jhansi, John Vijay, Mime Gopi, Prudhvi Raj, and Simrat Kaur.

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire Crew

Made on a budget of about Rs 270 Crore, Salaar is the production venture of Hombale Films, with Vijay Kiragandur at the helm. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's entire soundtrack and music.
