With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances.

Why Salaar Is Postponed?

According to the available information on the internet and social media platforms, the filmmakers want to shoot a special dance item number with a star actress alongside Prabhas, which is going to be a key feature of Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire. Following Prabhas' Knee surgery and subsequent rest, the shooting for the song might not happen now. Therefore, the director and the unit are planning to wait on Prabhas until he recuperates. There is no official confirmation of the same as yet. In addition, the quality of the product is top-notch for filmmaker Prashanth Neel. He doesn't want to overlook any minute thing when it comes to Prabhas' Salaar.

Salaar Ceasefire New Release Date Buzz

On September 25, several of Tollywood's unofficial social media accounts hinted at a date without mentions of Salaar. For that matter, they didn't tag any movie, actor, or hashtag. However, fans of the pan-India star are quick to assume that it is Salaar's new release date (tentatively). Going by the update, the date is 'Friday, 22nd December, 2023!!!'

The much-hyped action entertainer features an ensemble cast playing pivotal characters. Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist's role Varadharaja Mannaar in the movie. Jagapathi Babu played Raja Mannaar.
