Salaar Part 2 Is Called Shouryaanga Parvam, Here Are Some Leads About The Plot & Tentative Release Date

Salaar Part 2 Shouryaanga Parvam: Salaar, Prabhas' heavy-duty actioner written and directed by Prashanth Neel is finally playing in the theatres. The movie began premieres on December 22 with an overwhelming response pouring in from all over the world and from all the five languages it was released.

Looking at the kind of reviews that fans, critics, and action film lovers are pouring in for Prabhas-Prithviraj Sukumaran's film, it looks like Salaar will cakewalk through all the existing records and will set a greater benchmark for Indian films at the global box office.

Salaar Premise

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire is the story set against the backdrop of a fictional kingdom called Khansaar. It is the tale of two best friends from childhood, who grow old to become the worst enemies.

Meanwhile, the movie is getting highly positive reviews from the fans and they are calling it a perfect comeback for Prabhas, hinting at never-seen-before box office records.

After the film's rivetting 30-minute climax, the director introduced the sequel's title as Salaar Part 2- Shauryaanga Parvam. The already existing hype around the sequel has now grown manifold.

The movie reportedly ends where Deva's father Salaar is introduced and it has several leads to the sequel. On the other hand, Raja Mannar, played by Jagapathi Babu also will have a full-length role in the sequel. Several spoilers are all over the internet but fans are not complaining as all that information is increasing their expectations and anxiety until they watch the movie on the big screen.

Salaar Part 2 Shauryaanga Parvam Release Date

If things go as planned, Prashanth Neel will take about two years to bring out the sequel. He had committed a project with none other than Jr NTR, who is now shooting for Devara. After Salaar's release, it was earlier planned for their duo to collaborate and commence filming. Given the kind of craze and range Jr NTR enjoys, Prashanth Neel, who is known to make movies that spend years in production, the sequel to Salaar is not going to be out anytime soon.

In a recent interview ahead of Salaar's release, Prashanth Neel also confirmed that he cannot think about Salaar's sequel immediately and that it will take a good time to get back to it.

Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire Cast

The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.

The movie was produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.
