And while fans are eagerly waiting for Salaar and even Prabhas has pinned on the film, there have been frequent buzz about the movie getting postponed.

According to media reports, Salaar, which was scheduled to release in December this year, has been pushed to 2024 for release. It has left the audience confused about the release date of the film. And as the reports about Salaar getting postponed are going viral on social media, here's the truth behind these news.

As per the recent update, Salaar is not getting pushed and will be releasing on the said date. Yes! You read it right. Salaar will be hitting the theatres on December 22 this year and will be witnessing a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki. The news was confirmed by trade analyst Nishit Shaw who took to the micro-blogging site Twitter (now X) and wrote, "#SALAAR postponement news isn't true. So far the film is releasing as planned."

Earlier, Salaar was scheduled to release in September this year and was later postponed due to a delay in production. Announcing the postponement, makers stated, "We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we're committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards.
