Pan-India star Prabhas' one of the upcoming films, which is awaited with bated breaths by the actors' fans is KGF fame Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar.' The action thriller film which showcases Prabhas in a yet new mass action hero image is in its last leg of production. Salaar is gearing up for a massive worldwide release on September 28, 2023.

The latest update about Prabhas' Salaar that is driving the actors' fans crazy is the fact that the film's overseas rights were sold for a whopping price. The only overseas rights of Salaar are reportedly given away for Rs 70 Crore.

According to the available information from various sources, most of the production costs of Salaar have been recovered from the pre-release business for the Nizam area and the Overseas rights put together. Given the figures and the existing craze and following, the movie is going to be a lottery for producers.

Salaar Cast

Prabhas will be playing the titular role. The movie stars actress Shruti Haasan as the female lead in the character of Aadhya, for the first time paired opposite Prabhas. Malayalam superstar and actor-producer-director Prithviraj Sukumar will be seen in the role of Vardharaja Mannaar. Veteran Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu is portraying the role of Raja Mannaar. In addition, actors like Madhu Guruswamy, Sriya Rao, and Easwari Rao are part of the film and will be seen as crucial characters.

Salaar Crew

Salaar is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under his Homable Films banner. Bhuvan Gowda is working as its cinematographer whereas Ravi Basrur, who worked on KGF's score and tunes is composing Salaar's music. Ujwal Kulkarni is on board as the editor of Salaar. Salaar is being made on a budget of Rs 200 Crore.
