Salaar Pre-Release: Makers Of Prabhas-Prashanth Neel's Epic Actioner Remain Unresponsive; Fans Feel Anxious

Prabhas joined forces with epic filmmaker Prashanth Neel for the first installment of the much-hyped action-thriller titled Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire. The theatrical trailer has amplified the expectations of the film manifold.

Prabhas' Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire is expected to put Prabhas back on his success track, following several debacles, in addition to pushing his records a bit higher. The opening collections are expected to create a record worldwide.

No Pre-Release Event For Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire?

With only ten days left for D-day to the much-awaited theatrical release of the year, makers are not active in promoting the movie, despite having so much to do for a film of this scale and range.

Fans are expressing concern over the makers' unresponsive nature towards Prabhas' Salaar, and are comparing it to how they promoted Yash's KGF Chapters 1 & 2. Already there is news that Prabhas will refrain from taking part in interviews and campaigns that promote Salaar. The fresh concern is about the pre-release event and there is ambiguity around the activities planned or yet-to-be planned for Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire.

Salaar Runtime

The movie's runtime is locked at 2 hours 55 minutes and 22 seconds, a bit lengthy than the usual action entertainers. The CBFC board cleared the censor formalities with an 'A' certificate, reportedly, owing to its clear violent content.

Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire's digital streaming rights are also sold for a whopping Rs 160 Crore to the OTT giant Netflix.

The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.

The movie was produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.

Prabhas' Work Front

The actor will be next seen in yet another prestigious venture helmed by Vyjayanti Movies banner, titled Kalki 2848 AD aka Project K. In addition, Prabhas is also shooting for a comedy-horror called Raja Deluxe. Sandeep Reddy Vanga will join forces with Prabhas for his 25th named SPIRIT, and another movie by Mythri Movie Makers under the direction of Siddharth Anand.
