Salaar: Release Date Draws In For Prabhas-Prashanth Neel's Action Film; Fans Express Concern On Social Media

Pan-India star Prabhas' upcoming film, a prestigious production of Hombale Films, Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire is ready to hit the screens. The high-octane action entertainer is written and directed by Prashanth Neel.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is going to hit the screens worldwide on September 28. The movie stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu among others in pivotal roles. Salaar is expected to put Prabhas back on his success track after a series of debacles. The movie will have worldwide release in five languages.

Now that the mammoth-scale theatrical release is about a month and a half away, the makers of Salaar decided to keep the fans hooked to the movie by releasing several promotional material which includes the film's songs, theatrical trailer, etc. However, they have gone silent on the updates, which made the fans imaptient.

Fans of the 'Darling' star Prabhas expressed disappointment and despair on the filmmakers for not letting out any updates on the film. With only a little time left for the release, impatient fans are repeatedly bombarding Hombale Films and Prashanth Neel for the film's trailer and song release.

Prabhas, who is on a small break will have to shoot for another couple of days to finish the work on Salaar. He is expected to join the sets very soon.

Salaar part 1 Ceasefire Cast

The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.

The movie produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera, and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.
