Salaar Release Date: Prabhas & Prashanth Neel's High-Octane Action Thriller's Grand Release Is On December 22

Prabhas, the Darling star is gearing up to create history by collaborating with epic director Prashanth Neel. The first installment of the much-hyped action-thriller Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire is currently in the last leg of its post-production work. The official release date is just out.

Salaar Ceasefire New Release Date Buzz

On September 25, several of Tollywood's unofficial social media accounts hinted at a date without mentions of Salaar, based on the post made by Prashanth Neel's wife on her social media accounts. For that matter, they didn't tag any movie, actor, or hashtag. However, fans of the pan-India star are quick to assume that it is Salaar's new release date (tentatively). Going by the update, the date is 'Friday, 22nd December, 2023!!!'

But on September 29, there was an uproar on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter), about the new release date. The official announcement is expected at 10.30 am. Finally, the date is now officially confirmed as December 22.

Salaar Cast

The much-hyped action entertainer features an ensemble cast playing pivotal characters. Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist's role Varadharaja Mannaar in the movie. Jagapathi Babu played Raja Mannaar.

Shruti Haasan plays the female lead's role Aadya. In addition, the movie stars Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, Gemini Suresh, etc.

Salaar Crew

The movie produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.

Meanwhile Prabhas is reportedly going to take a break for getting a knee surgery done. He will resume shootings once he is fully recovered.
