Prabhas, the Darling star is gearing up to create history by collaborating with epic director Prashanth Neel Both are considered mammoths in the southern film industry and have set worldwide records with their films previously. Their first collaboration is already breaking records two days before its huge and grand release of Salaar Part 1-Ceasefire, an action spectacle. The movie is ready to hit the screens in five languages on December 22.
Salaar Premise
Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire is the story set against the backdrop of a fictional kingdom called Khansaar. It is the tale of two best friends from childhood, who grow old to become the worst enemies. The story was so big that the writer-director chose to elaborate it in two parts. Deva aka Salaar and Varadaraj Mannar's story of friendship, trust, sacrifice, and vengeance is all about Salaar.
Ahead of the release, the two theatrical trailers have amplified the sky-high expectations beyond comprehension. Despite the delay in dropping the trailers several times, fans were positive about the output and the early reviews coming out now are making them excited and hard to hold back.
Is Salaar Deva's Father?
Prabhas will be seen in the character of Deva. The saga of friendship, trust, betrayal, and revenge is depicted in a two-part film. According to the available updates, we hear that Deva is all over the first part with a climax that leads to the epic face-off between Deva-turned-Salaar in the second part of Salaar. Salaar Part 1 will narrate the story of Deva and his friend Raj Mannar. In the end, director Prashanth Neel introduces Salaar, the father of Deva, which will lead to the hype around the sequel. Jagapathi Babu's character as Varadharaj Mannar's role will be crucial in the sequel.
Salaar stars an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Shruti Haasan, Shriya Reddy, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Ramacharandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.
Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music. Vijay Kiraandur bankrolled the movie under the Hombale Films banner, which earlier produced blockbuster hits like Kantara, KGF Chapter 1, and KGF Chapter 2 among others.
