Salaar USA Advance Ticket Bookings: Prabhas-Prashanth Neel's Heavy Duty Action Drama Crosses Rs 1 Crore Mark

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is crucial for Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. Prabhas, especially because the Baahubali actor delivered back-to-back flops with his films after Baahubali 2. Prashanth Neel, on the other hand, had to live up to the hype around Prabhas and KGF franchise. Probably, Salaar and Prabhas are the only film and actor in India to have been continuously trending every alternate day with thousands of tweets on 'X' micro-blogging site, for several months.

The makers have officially announced the theatrical trailer release date as December 1. The movie will be hitting the screens worldwide on December 22, for the Christmas holidays The pre-release nontheatrical business, satellite, audio, and digital streaming rights have been sold. The theatrical business is yet to be finalized in a few areas. Netflix India secured the OTT rights for Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire.

Salaar USA Advance Sales Crosses Rs 1 Crore Mark

As per the available information, the USA advance booking sales for Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire crossed the Rs 1 Crore mark, which is an epic feat, given that the movie's theatrical release is 31 days away.

As mentioned in a report by TOI, Salaar collected $132517, which is Rs 1.1 Crore from about 172 locations by selling out as many as 5073 tickets. A day before, it made $ 122,724 by selling 4694 tickets from 152 locations.

The first part of Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Ramachandra Raju, Madhu Guruswamy, Saptagiri, Prudhvi Raj, Jhansi, Brahmaji, Naga Mahesh, Dubbaka Bhaskar Rao, and Gemini Suresh among other in key roles.

The movie was produced on a budget of about Rs 250 Crore by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Bhuvan Gowda cranked the camera and Ujwal Kulkarni worked as the editor. Ravi Basrur composed the film's background score and music.
