Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the one actress down south who enjoys a huge fan base. The actress has opened up about fighting Myositis and is back in full swing, promoting her films, and shooting for her upcoming projects.

Samantha is a fitness freak and lifts crazy weights. Her videos on social media are mostly of her performing in the home gym, giving away goals to her followers and fans. The same actress has turned herself into a graceful character of Shakuntala, for visionary director Gunasekhar's mythological period drama titled 'Shaakuntalam.' The movie, which was shot a long time ago, is finally gearing up for a theatrical release on April 14 all over the world. The movie is another pan-India release of Samantha, who plays the lead role in the movie.

Samantha, who has recovered from her illness is giving back-to-back interviews with Television channels, YouTube channels, news dailies, etc to promote Shaakuntalam, which is releasing next week. She exuded confidence that the movie will enthrall people of all ages, especially children, and is a full-family watch during the summer.

During the promotions of Shaakuntalam, in which she co-starred with a plethora of actors, Samantha has been expressing her views and answering questions about her personal life as well. While the news of her ex-husband, actor Naga Chaitanya dating Sobhita Dhulipala has been doing the rounds on the internet, she was quizzed about the same.

According to a report in The Siasat Daily, Samantha was quoted saying, "I am not bothered as to who is in a relationship with whom. Those who do not know the value of love will be left in tears irrespective of the number of people they date. At least that girl should be happy. If he changes his behaviour and looks after the girl without hurting her, it will be good for everyone."

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is now shooting for Citadel, a web series for Amazon Prime Video. She is also part of director Shiva Nirvana's upcoming romantic entertainer starring Vijay Deverakonda, titled 'Kushi.' In Citadel, the actress is working with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan.
