On the eve of actress Samantha's birthday, a die-hard fan of the actress from Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh had built and inaugurated her temple at his house. The structure was named 'The Temple of Samantha.' However, everything is not quite okay with the fans of the actress.

While the fan build her a temple with a bust-sized statue of the actress erected in it, netizens started dropping in hilarious comments. Honestly, although the gesture comes across as an effort of that particular fan to showcase his affection and love towards the Shaakuntalam actress, the face of the figure didn't turn out to be like Samantha's.

Netizens had a field day on the posts about the temple of Samantha and its inauguration. While many questioned if it is really Samantha, others were a bit harsh commenting about her plastic surgeries.

Samantha's Work Front

The actress tasted a disastrous response for her recently released socio-fantasy film, Shaakuntalam, which was made on a whopping budget but fell flat at the box office. The movie couldn't make at least Rs 10 Crore in a week against the budget of Rs 65 Crore.

She will be next seen in the Indian version of an action thriller web series called Citadel, along with Varun Dhawan. In addition, she is also shooting for 'Khushi' with Vijay Deverakonda, helmed by Shiva Nirvana.
