Samantha Ruth Prabhu Makes Remark Against Producer Who Called Her “Out Of Form”

After the release of Shaakuntalam, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been making the headlines for the wrong reasons. The film received negative feedback from fans and critics, and people called out the movie for its juvenile visual effects. Recently, producer Chittibabu spoke in an interview with a YouTube channel, where he spoke about Samantha's performance. Slamming his comments, the Oh Baby star has made a remark about him.

Chittibabu said in his interview, "She is taking any offer that comes her way following her divorce. Her days as a famous heroine are over. Making emotional declarations and crying in front of the media doesn't always work," Chittibabu further added.
He said, "A movie's chances of success with the audience depend on its content. I wonder how an out-of-form heroine like Samantha was chosen for the role of Shakunthala"

Slamming his comment, Samantha made a remark against the filmmaker on her Instagram space by sharing a verse from the Bhagavad Gita. Though she did not directly address his comment, since her remark came right after Chittibabu's interview, one can read between the lines to know that she took a dig at him.

Meanwhile, Samantha is presently busy with the promotion of her upcoming Amazon Prime series Citadel. Samantha is working alongside Varun Dhawan on the Indian original series, which is a part of the Citadel franchise. The series' flagship show starred Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. The Indian version tart streaming on Prime Video on April 28.
