Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Fan Builds 'Temple' For Her; Picture Of 'Idol' Goes Viral

Building temples for their favourite actors is not a something new in Southern part of India. There are 'temples' for several actors including the likes of Khusbhu and Namitha. And now, the list of actors to get their own temples has become longer as a fan of Samantha Ruth Prabhu has just bullt a 'temple' for her.

He is getting a temple named after the 'Shaakuntalam' actress. A picture of the alleged idol of the actor has gone viral on social media, claiming that the man has planned to unveil the idol on Samantha's birthday, which falls on April 28th.

According to reports, he decided to build a temple for her after she revealed that she was suffering from a disease called mycosis. He even went on a holy trip praying for her to get well soon.

On the acting front, Samantha will be next seen in the Amazon Prime series, Citadel, which will go on air on Friday. Though her previous movie Shaakuntalam was a disaster at the box office, all eyes are on Citadel as the makers have been excessively promoting it.

She also has a movie with Vijay Deverakonda titled Kushi. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Kushi will hit the theatres on September 1 this year amid huge expectations.

The film was announced in 2019 but it was rolled out in 2022. It is reported that the film is based on the Tamil movie, Roja directed by Mani Ratnam. However, reports also suggest that there will be variations to woo today's audience.

Samantha has been making the headlines ever since her fantasy drama Shaakuntalam hit the theaters. The mega budget movie failed to impress the fans and critics alike and people called out the movie for its bad visual effects. Before Shaakuntalam, Samantha's Yashoda received positive response from fans and critics.
