Samantha recently attended the world premiere of Citadel on April 18 in London. In the Indian version of Citadel, she will be seen reuniting with her The Family Man directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. The event was also attended by her co-stars Varun Dhawan, Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, among others.

Meanwhile, her Telugu movie Shaakuntalam was released recently, which was not received well by the fans and critics. It is also reported that the film incurred a huge loss to its makers.
