Shaakuntalam Telugu Movie First Review By Samantha; Hints 'Kids Out There.. You're Going To..'

Actress Samantha saw the film Shaakuntalam and gave her first review. Shaakuntalam is the upcoming movie starring actress Samantha. The film is slated to release on April 14, 2023.

The post-production work was completed a month before the release. It stars Samantha as Sakunthala and Malayalam actor Devmohan as Dushyant. Mohan Babu and Gauthami are playing important roles. Tanaya Allu Arha is entering Tollywood as a child actress with this film. She is playing Bharathu.

Shaakuntalam movie is releasing in 3D version. Produced by Gunasekar, Neelima along with Dil Raju, the film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

In her Instagram post Samantha said, "And I finally watched the movie today! Gunashekar garu.. you have my heart. What a beautiful film! One of our greatest epics brought to life so endearingly! I can't wait for our family audiences to be swept away by the powerful emotions! And all you kids out there... you're going to love our magical world! Initially, they planned to release the film on November 4 last year. Later it was announced that it will be released on 17th February on the occasion of Mahashivarathri. The film did not release on that date. After being postponed twice, it is now slated to release on April 14.

It has been reported that Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital streaming rights of 'Shaakuntalam' in all languages. Amazon Prime also has the rights to Samantha's last film 'Yashoda'.
