Skanda is the latest heavy-action mass entertainer coming from Tollywood's energetic star Ram Pothineni. For the first time in his career, Ram, who aced the mass avatar with Ishmart Shankar, layered up a bit more for Boyapati Srinu's Skanda.

Skanda is the first pan-India release for Ram Pothineni, in which he collaborated with the hottest beauty of the Telugu industry, Sreeleela. The movie is going to hit the screens worldwide on September 28.

Skanda Premise

Bhaskar (Ram Pothineni) is a rough college student who is on a mission to avenge his family's loss. The movie is touted to be an emotional action drama with high-octane mass sequences and fights. Ram Pothineni sported a beefed-up look and messy hair for the role unlike before.

Skanda Early Office Prediction

After Nani's Dasara, there have been no such big openings for tier 2 heroes in Tollywood. Ram Pothineni's Skanda is now carrying hype to achieve or beat the openings of Dasara. The movie is expected to make about Rs 8 Crore on its first day from all centers across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone.

But, on its first day, Skanda made about 11. 5 Crore and it surpassed opening day expectations. However, due to the lack of substance in Boyapati's directorial, the movie had to see a drop in figures the very next day.

Day 1: Rs 11.5 Crore
Day 2: Rs 7 Crore
Total 2 Days Collection: Rs 18.5 Crore

Skanda Cast

The action entertainer stars Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela, Saiee Manjrekar, Prince Cecil, Sharath Lohithaswa, Prabhakar, Ajay Purkar, Daggubati Raja, Srikanth, Babloo Prithveeraj, Gauthami, and Indraja among others in key roles.
