Skanda Box Office Day 8 Prediction: Ram Pothineni's Mass Appeal Manages To Attract Audiences To Theatres

Tollywood's energetic star Ram Pothineni is trying to create a new image of an allrounder and has been picking up stories that make him experiment and challenge himself, in terms of looks and performance. For the first time, the actor joined hands with mass director Boyapati Sreenu for a full heavy-action film.

Story

Bhaskar (Ram Pothineni) is a happy-go-lucky youngster who is a student. He teases and takes an interest in Sreeleela (Sreeleela), who is the daughter of Telangana CM. Sreeleela's brother is in love with Andhra Pradesh CM's daughter and the two Chief Ministers turn rivals. On the other hand, Rudrakanti Ramakrishna Raju(Srikanth) and his daughter Parineeti (Saiee Manjrekar) are in their lowest phase of life by spending time in prison and a hospital, respectively. Rudrakanti Ramakrishna Raju is Bhaskar's uncle. Why did Bhaskar come close to Sreeleela? What is his agenda? How Bhaskar handles the situation? is the crux of Skanda.

Skanda Box Office Prediction

After Nani's Dasara, there have been no such big openings for tier 2 heroes in Tollywood. Ram Pothineni's Skanda is now carrying hype to achieve or beat the openings of Dasara. The movie is expected to make about Rs 8 Crore on its first day from all centers across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone.

But, on its first day, Skanda made about 11. 5 Crore and it surpassed opening day expectations. However, due to the lack of substance in Boyapati's directorial, the movie had to see a drop in figures the very next day.

Skanda is made on a budget of about Rs 50 Crore by Srinivasaa Chitturi and Pavan Kumar under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, in association with Zee Studios. The movie's cinematography was handled by Santosh Detake and editing was taken care of by Tammiraju. S Thaman composed the film's entire background score and music. M Rathnam penned the dialogues for this Boyapati Srinu directorial.
