SPY: Digital Rights Of Nikhil Siddharth's Action Film Sold To THIS OTT Giant For A HUGE Price!

Popular Editor Garry BH, who worked with the likes of Adivi Sesh, is making his directorial debut with Karthikeya 2 fame Nikhil Siddharth's film. The high-octane action entertainer is titled SPY and is currently in the last leg of post-production. The movie will release in the second half of 2023, in all likelihood.

According to the given information, SPY's non-theatrical rights have been sold off for a huge price, after Nikhil's Karthikeya 2 movie registered a blockbuster hit. The digital streaming rights are bagged by OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. The satellite rights of the film have been sold to Star Network, which implies that Star Maa channel has the rights to Spy movie, officially. The deal was closed for a huge Rs 40 Crore, which is a remarkable feat for a tier 2 hero.

SPY stars Iswarya Menon, Aryan Rajesh, Makarand Deshpande, Dayanand Reddy, Sanya Thakur, and Abhinav Gomatam among others in crucial roles. Anirudh Krishna Murthy co-wrote the film. Mark David and Julian Estrada cranked the camera for SPY. Editing is taken care of by the director Garry BH himself. Robert Laenen was the film's stunt coordinator. Musician Sricharan Pakala composed the film's entire background score and music.

Siddharth is focusing on doing more pan-India films after Karthikeya 2's success. His film directed by Chandoo Mondeti catapulted the actor to nationwide fame with just one film. However, Nikhil's earlier films are a rage in the Hindi-speaking belt, thanks to their dubbed versions on YouTube.
