Sreeleela Charges A Bomb For A Special Song In Pawan Kalyan-Sai Dharam Tej's Upcoming Vinodhaya Sitham Remake?
According to the grapevine, Sreeleela, although is currently not interested in doing special songs, is considering the project because of Pawan Kalyan.
Vinodhaya Sitham is a comedy drama directed by Samuthirakani in 2021. The movie was released directly on OTT, and it was met with positive reviews later on. Owing to the story's universal theme, the makers of Tollywood films have decided to remake it in Telugu.
A few days ago, the film's official announcement was made with power star Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej in the lead roles, to be helmed by Samuthirakani himself. The shooting of the film kick-started a couple of days ago. The name 'Devudu' is in consideration for title. If things go as per plans, Devudu will probably hit the screens in August this year. The film's shooting is expected to wrap up by the end of July.
In this remake, Pawan Kalyan will be seen portraying the role of a 'God of Time', which reminds us of the character he played in Venkatesh-starrer 'Gopala Gopala.' Sai Dharam Tej will be portraying the role of Thambi Ramaiah's character in the original.
Reportedly, buzz has it that the most happening actress of the Tollywood industry, Sreeleela, was approached for a special song in the film. The actress, allegedly, was in a dilemma about the same, and therefore is asking for a huge remuneration of Rs 1 Crore to shake a leg. According to the grapevine, Sreeleela, although is currently not interested in doing special songs, is considering the project because of Pawan Kalyan.
The actress, otherwise, is part of several interesting projects as a female lead. She debuted with Rohan Meka's Pelli SandaD, and then starred in Ravi Teja's Dhamaka, a blockbuster film. Post the success of Dhamaka, offers lined-up knocking her door.
Co-written and directed by veteran actor-director Samuthirakani, Vinodhaya Sitham stars Thambi Ramaiah in a prominent role along with Samuthirakani, Sriranjani, Deepak Dinkar, Sheriina, and Sanchita Shetty among others.
The film's cinematography was handled by NK Ekambaram and edited by AL Ramesh. C Sathya composed the film's entire soundtrack. Abirami Ramanathan and Nallammai Ramanathan produced the movie under Abirami Media Works banners.
