Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film with ace writer-director Trivikram Srinivas, referred to as SSMB 28, is back in the headlines with a bang. The makers of the highly-anticipated movie released a first look poster featuring the superstar in an all new avatar. Along with the poster, the release date of the film was also revealed.

Mahesh Babu's look from the poster is on fire and fans of the actor are celebrating the poster like crazy on the social media platforms. Within a few minutes of the announcement, the poster went viral and SSMB 28 has been trending on Twitter.

Mahesh Babu sported a fancy haircut and was seen wearing a loose fitting shirt with cool black shades. He is seen taking a whiff off a cigarette in his hand, with a Lorry and a car in his background. In the poster, Mahesh Babu was seen flanked by people. His look has impressed fans and they are excited about the movie.

SSMB 28 Release Date

Mahesh Babu's film now has a new release date. While the film's shooting was delayed by several months, the makers initially wanted to bring the movie in the month of August. However, owing to the number of delays in production, the makers finally announced a date during the Sankranthi season of 2024. Accordingly, the movie will now hit the screens all over the world on January 13.

SSMB 28 Cast

The movie stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu, while actress Sreeleela, who is the most sought-after actress in Tollywood right now, is playing another female lead role in the film. Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu is playing the antagonist's role in the movie. He earlier worked with Mahesh Babu as his father in Koratala Siva's directorial Srimanthudu. In addition, Prakash Raj, and yesteryear actress Shobana are also part of the important cast of SSMB 28.
