SSMB 28: Mahesh Babu's Upcoming Film Has Three Stellar Action Sequences; Shooting To Wrap Up By April Except..

Superstar Mahesh Babu is shooting non-stop for his upcoming project with writer-producer-director Trivikram Srinivas, referred to as SSMB 28. The yet-to-be-titled action entertainer with trademark Mahesh Babu-Trivikram mark is one of the most awaited films by not only the fans of them both but also the general movie-goers. This is the third time that the director and actor are coming together; after more than a decade. Pooja Hegde is the film's female lead.

The movie's title is said to be revealed on the occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year's day on March 22. The makers of the film, Haarika, and Hassine Creations are planning to release the film in the month of August this year. As Mahesh Babu and Trivikram have other projects to kick-start soon, the shooting of SSMB 28-which was already long delayed due to various reasons- is happening at a fast pace, at a stretch.

According to the latest buzz circulated by the actor's fan pages on social media platforms, the makers of the film are looking forward to completing the talkie part of the movie's shooting by end of April. Except for songs and one fight sequence, the rest of the film will likely be finished by April. The movie will have three stylish action sequences composed by Anbu-Ariv, who worked for Kamal Haasan-Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram.'

The movie's key cast is taking part in the month-long schedule involving the main leads and character actors. Yester year actress Shobana is making a comeback to films with SSMB 28. Trivikram earlier brought Nadiya and Khushboo Sundar to the silver screen in such prominent roles.

SSMB 28 is said to have Sreeleela as the second female lead. Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen in the antagonist's role. Rumours also suggest that Bollywood actress Rekha will be seen in the movie as a cameo. PS Vinod is cranking the camera for SSMB 28 while S Thaman is working on the entire soundtrack including tunes and score. Naveen Nooli is on board as the film's editor.
