SSMB 28: Mahesh Babu-Trivikram Srinivas's Film Has A Veteran Actor Playing The Role Of Grandfather, Deets In

Superstar Mahesh babu's upcoming film SSMB 28's new, long, and exciting schedule is all ready to commence from February 27 in Hyderabad. Written and directed by renowned Trivikram Srinivas, the movie marks the third collaboration of the duo and is highly awaited by the fans.

The makers of the film, Haarika, and Hassine Creations have reportedly shelled out a good amount of the film's budget on erecting sets for the shooting. A lavish house set was constructed at Shankarpally.

The movie, which stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead will shoot for the most important scenes in this schedule, where the key cast will participate. The first look of Mahesh Babu and the film's title will be released on the auspicious day of Ugadi, the Telugu New year's day. If everything goes as per schedule, the movie will hit the screens on August 11, 2023.

According to the latest buzz, we hear that veteran actor Prakash Raj has been roped in for portraying a key role in the movie, that of Mahesh's grandfather. While rumours suggest that Prakash Raj has signed for the project, another fantastic actor, Jagapathi Babu is also part of the movie, but as an antagonist.

SSMB 28 stars another female lead and Samyuktha, who made her Tollywood acting debut with Trivikram's production venture 'Bheemla Nayak', will be seen in the character. PS Vinod is cranking the camera and S Thaman is on board for scoring the film's entire soundtrack and tunes.
