Colours Swathi aka Swathi Reddy, is a name quite popular in the Telugu states. She is one of the most liked television hosts, who made her way into films and gained recognition for her skills.

Swathi Reddy hit the headlines on July 18 as there were speculations about her separation from husband Vikas Vasu. The actress reportedly deleted her wedding pictures from her social media account. Rumours about their split caught fire, as a result. However, there is no official confirmation or denial from the parties invovled.

Swathi Reddy married Vikas in 2018. He is a pilot working in Indonesia. Swathi moved in with him post wedding and lived there for most of the time until recently.

Swathi Reddy's was a proper traditional Telugu marriage that took place in Hyderabad among the closest of friends and immediate family members. She hosted a reception for her colleagues from Mollywood in Kerala, which is also reportedly the place Vikas Vasu belonged to.

Back in 2020, there were speculations about her divorce as the actress hid all her pictures and videos with her husband from her Instagram account. Swathi, who immediately reacted to the news said that she archived them to clear out the profile and there is nothing more to it. She even posted a video of how she archived them.

However, she deactivated her account on social media in July 2020 stating "I thought social media was not the right place to be at that point in time. I am just an actor with a blue tick. Balancing an online life and real life was getting surreal."

Swathi resumed acting in 2023 with an anthology film titled Panchathantram. Talking about her come back to films, Swathi said, "I don't want to say it is a come back. I am doing the film because I liked the script when the director Harsha Pulipaka narrated it."
