Telugu Indian Idol 2 Finale: Pushpa Star Allu Arjun Hands Over The Winner's Trophy To THIS Finalist, Deets In!

One of the popular Telugu Singing reality shows titled Telugu Indian Idol 2 concluded on June 4, with its finale episode streaming on Aha Video. Stylish star Pushpa Raj aka Allu Arjun attended the event as a chief guest for the finale.

Season 2 of the Telugu Indian Idol reality show enjoyed a decent viewership although was not as remarkable as its debut. The makers of the show have left no stone unturned to make the event a large-scale event by roping in the busiest of celebrities as chief guests, judges, and mentors.

Renowned Playback singers Hemachandra and Geetha Madhuri have presented season 2 as hosts while music director S Thaman and Singer Karthik took part as the show's judges.

Among the top five finalists, Soujanya, who belongs to Visakhapatnam won the title winner's trophy as well as the cash prize of Rs 10 Lakh. Allu Arjun as the chief guest of the event handed over her trophy and the cheque.

Allu Arjun Says 'Men Should Support Their Wives'

Speaking on the occasion, Allu Arjun said, "I am very happy that you have won the title. There is a reason behind this. Generally, parents encourage and support their daughters but in your case, your victory proves that women can achieve anything with support from husbands and in-laws. You are an inspiration," added Arjun.

Jayaraj, who ended up as the runner-up received an amount of Rs 3 Lakh as a cash prize. Also, Rs 2 Lakh was given away to Lasya, the second runner-up.

In the finale which was held for two days, Soujanya performed three songs- 'Edo Priyaraagam Vintunna', 'Boochade', and 'Sami Sami.' Among these, two are Allu Arjun's songs and the Pushpa 2 actor showered her with appreciation.

Since Soujanya is a mother of two years old, Allu Arjun was floored by her passion. He said, "Miru singing ki gap ivvaledu vachindi anthe. From now on there will be no gap. I appreciate your command of Telugu and the way you are singing. A man should always support his wife and encourage her. I do the same and support Sneha in whatever she does. She owns a Photostudio and I am offering your family a free photoshoot for your kids."

Soujanya is a professional singer and a budding playback singer in the Telugu film industry. She already sang 'Gundelona' from Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy.
