Thaman S REACTS To Tamil Music Directors Working In Telugu; Says, 'Overloaded Auto Would Lead To A Puncture..'

Thaman is one of the busiest and most-wanted music composers in the Tollywood film industry. The musician has more than half a dozen projects in Telugu currently and is someone who always becomes a target for trolls.

His first break as a music composer is Ravi Teja's Kick by Surender Reddy. Ever since, Thaman never looked back and is always juggling between more than three films at a time. He emerged as the number-one choice for many films which feature star actors and directors.

Speaking about the backlash for BRO tunes and score, Thaman made certain statements that didn't go down well with the industry insiders as well as the fans. He then said, "We give only what is required for the film. If the expectations are high, we can't do anything about it."

According to a post on Daily Culture, Thaman also is said to have commented on the phenomenon of Tamil music directors venturing and making it big in the industry. He reportedly said, "For music directors in Telugu, films are overloading. An auto can only take four people and if ten persons sit inside, it would lead to a puncture."

Musicians like Anirudh Ravichander, Hesham Abdul Wahab, and B Ajaneesh Loknath among others are signing interesting and crazy projects in Tollywood as many south-Indian films have become pan-India films.

The 39-year-old composer started his career as an actor in Boys, which was released in 2003. But, at the young age of 11, Thaman entered the Telugu movie industry as a supporting drummer with his father, who was working on the background score of Bhairava Dweepam in 1994. He discontinued education at 13 years following his father's demise. He then joined Raj-Koti and worked for three years on about 60 films and with MM Keeravani for three years on 30 films. Later, he worked under Mani Sharma for 8 years on 94 films.

Thaman recently won the National Award at the 68th National Film Awards for Best Music Direction for Allu Arjun-starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Thaman also owns music bands named Band Thamania and Gongura Band. Thaman is known for frequent collaborations with Ravi Teja, Trivikram Srinivas, Sreenu Vaitla, and Boyapati Srinu.

Apart from BRO and Guntur Kaaram, Thaman is also on board for Allu Arjun's upcoming with Trivikram Srinivas, referred to as AA 22. He signed Ravi Teja's film with Gopichand Malineni and Bebbuli by Thyagarajan. He is the composer for Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming movie Bhagavanth Kesari by Anil Ravipudi. Ram Pothineni's next with Boyapati Srinu titled Skanda, and RRR star Ram Charan's bilingual Game Changer are also in Thaman's Kitty.
