RRR star Ram Charan is enjoying a whale of a time with his newborn daughter Klin Kaara and his wife Upasana Kamineni. The actor is currently working on S Shankar's bilingual titled Game Changer.

Actress Laya Gorty, popular as Laya is one of the reigning queens of the Telugu film industry in the 2000s. She worked alongside actors like Venu, Sivaji, and of Nandamuri Balakrishna before leaving the industry for personal reasons.

Laya Roped In For RC 16?

If the rumours are to be believed, the beautiful actress was approached with a meaty role for Ram Charan's upcoming film with director Buchi Babu. Touted to be a sports-based drama, the movie is one of the much-hyped films that is going to be made in Tollywood.

Laya, who was recently in India took part in various programs on the small screen and Tollywood events. She expressed her desire to work in films only if she is offered a prominent role and not that of a sister or mother's character.

If things go as per plans, we might soon see Laya with Ram Charan on the silver screen. However, the buzz is strong but there is no confirmation on the same.

The 41-year-old actress took a sudden break from films after tying the knot with a USA-based doctor, a Radiologist Sri Ganesh. She shifted to the States after the wedding and is now a mother of two. The actress got married at the peak of her career. She runs a classical dance school in the States besides working as a techie.

Laya is extremely talented and won two Nandi Awards consecutively besides several other accolades. She acted in tens of films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

RC 16 will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Sukumar Writings. AR Rahman will score the film's entire background music and tunes.
