The actress, who is a social media junkie took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of herself from the past on April 24. Apparently, the image was of Samantha when she was all of sweet 16 years.

In the picture she shared with the world and her fans, Samantha looked quite stunning and nothing has changed pretty much about her. While it The petite actress, who turned out to be a fitness freak later on was seen as a young lanky girl coming from a humble background with eyes like stars and full of dreams. It is a known fact about Samantha that she took up part-time jobs and modeling assignments as a teenager before making it really big in the film industry. The recent picture might be from one such time.

The image was in Black and White. She wore a mini-dress with a pullover of full sleeves. As she sat on the couch looking away from the camera with her hand in her hair, it was clicked by someone the actress couldn't share detail about. The image took her fans back to her 'Yem Maaya Chesave' time, in which she looked naive, sweet, and her features were more realistic than now.

She has been under treatment for so long, and it showed on her face. Recently, for the promotions of Shaakuntalam, the actress came out and spoke about her personal life, divorce from ex-husband Naga Chaitanya, her goals as an actor, etc.

Samantha was recently seen in Gunasekhar directorial fantasy love story Shaakuntalam. The movie was made on a whopping budget of Rs 65 Crore for a female-centric film. The movie tanked at the box office and is the biggest flop movie in the actress's career.

She has several films and web series in the pipeline. Samantha is shooting with Shiva Nirvana and Vijay Deverakonda for Khushi. She is part of the Citadel series.
