Tholi Prema Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 3: Pawan Kalyan's Cult Film Sets Record In First Weekend

Tholi Prema is one of the first romantic films for Pawan Kalyan, which helped him become a rage among youngsters. Produced by GVG Raju under the SSC Arts banners, Tholi Prema is one of the most successful films in PSPK's career.

The 1998 release is the latest movie to join the re-release bandwagon in Tollywood. The film's 4K version was released all over the two Telugu states in about 300 select theatres for the fans to enjoy the experience on June 30.

On the second day of its re-release, fans who had been celebrating the film spotted the film's director, A Karunakaran, among the crowd and cheered for him.

Tholi Prema Story

The story revolves around Balu, a wayward college student whose motive in life is to go abroad and settle down while he whiles away time with his friends. One night, as he goes out, he happens to see an angel-like girl named Anu and falls for her. He later finds her and befriends her. He learns that Anu has returned from the States to spend time with her grandfather and is awaiting admission to Harvard University.

Meanwhile, Anu falls for Balu after he risks his life to save a child as well as Anu from accidents. When the time comes for Anu's return, she professes her love for him. Both of them promise each other to reunite after Anu achieves her goal.

Along with Pawan Kalyan and Keerthi Reddy as the main lead characters, the movie stars Vasuki, Ali, Nagesh, Venu Madhav, Achyuth, Prasanna Kumar, Narra Venkateswara Rao, and PJ Sarma, among others in key roles.

Tholi Prema Re-release Box Office Prediction

The openings for the re-release were huge for the power star's film, which was much-awaited by his fans. On the first day of its re-release, the movie made a notable gross.

By the first weekend, Pawan Kalyan's Tholi Prema movie is estimated to have earned about Rs 5 Crore at the box office all over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which is a record.
