Finally, the date on which Tollywood actors Lavanya Tripathi and Varun Tej are going to get engaged has come out. Officially, the couple is going to exchange rings in a Telugu ceremony on June 9.

As per the information that has been doing the rounds, Lavanya and Varun will get engaged in an elaborate traditional style 'Nischithardam.' Usually in Telugu states, the engagement ceremony is held by the bride's side of the family. However, their engagement will take place in Hyderabad, where Lavanya has settled down. This is going to be an entirely close-knit family event.

The wedding of Varun Tej and Lavanya's is one of the most awaited events in Tollywood. Varun is the nephew of megastar Chiranjeevi and power star Pawan Kalyan. He is the cousin of Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, and others in the mega family.

Along with the main families, the entire mega compound comprising actors and their wives, sons, daughters, etc are going to come together to attend this happy occasion.

Varun Tej, who has worked with Lavanya in Mister and Antakriksham movie has been dating the actress secretly. Some time ago, rumours of their dating have come out but nothing was spoken of. The couple too remained tight-lipped about their relationship.

It was speculated that the duo is together when Lavanya Tripathi was present throughout Niharika Konidela's entire wedding events when she married Chaitanya Jonnalagadda in a luxurious resort in Udaipur. From the Pellikuturu ceremony to the reception in Hyderabad and between, Lavanya Tripathi was seen taking an active part in the wedding celebrations.

Lavanya Tripathi's last movie was a female-oriented sci-fi thriller Happy Birthday, which tanked at the box office. Also, she starred in another such web series for Zee 5 titled 'Puli Meka,' which was also successful.

On the other hand, Varun Tej, who tasted box office failure with Ghani, is working on 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna' as his next.
