Upasana Kamineni Congratulates Lavanya Tripathi On Her Engagement With Varun Tej; Says 'Looking Forward To...'

Varun Tej-Lavanya Tripathi Engagement: Finally, after about seven years of sticking to each other through various phases of life, Tollywood's newest celebrity Jodi Varun Tej, and Lavanya Tripathi are now officially engaged. The couple exchanged rings and flower garlands in the presence of families on June 9.

The engagement ceremony took place in Nagababu's house at Manikonda in Hyderabad. The entire Allu, Konidela, extended cousins, and siblings of the mega family gathered at the house to celebrate the happy and joyous occasion. Lavanya Tripathi's family also was present.

Megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Aravind, Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Sreeja, Sushmitha, etc have taken part in the intimate home ceremony, that was organized in a traditional south-Indian set-up.

For the engagement, the decor was simple and elegant with a white cut-out backdrop bordered with pastel colour flowers. Varun Tej chose an ivory-coloured kurta set reportedly designed by Tarun Tahiliani while his actress fiance Lavanya kept it simple in a lime green banaras saree embellished by designer Anita Dongre.
