'Vaathi' Actress Samyuktha Hikes Her Remuneration Post Film's Success; Offers Pour In From Telugu Industry!

The Malayali-born 27-year-old actress, who made her acting debut in 2016's Malayalam film 'Popcorn' is now one of the most wanted actresses in the Tollywood and south industries. Following her recent successful films, Tollywood producers are ready to shower the actress with female lead characters in their upcoming films.

Samyuktha Telugu Debut

In Telugu, Samyuktha made her debut with Power star Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak, in which she was paired opposite Rana Daggubati. With the film's success and the actress's performance, she got roped in to play the female lead character in Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's massive blockbuster Bimbisara.

The actress was then seen in Sir aka Vaathi, Dhanush's Telugu debut and bilingual film written and directed by Venky Atluri. With her three consecutive films in Tollywood becoming hits, the actress is flooded with offers, which is why she has decided to hike her remuneration.

It is an open secret that Tollywood is facing a female lead crunch. Although Telugu-origin girls are not preferred for big-budget and star-studded films, the dearth of female lead actresses to star opposite the top league actors is a reality. Pooja Hegde is only doing SSMB 28 and is currently dealing with back-to-back flops. Rashmika Mandanna is busy with Bollywood projects and apart from Pushpa 2 opposite Allu Arjun, the actress hasn't given her nod to any other south project. Kajal Aggarwal is acting with Kamal Haasan in Indian 2 and these actresses are already seen enough on the big screen.

Samyutkha is currently filming a Malayalam movie titled 'Boomerang.' Also, the actress has been listening to scripts and is awaiting a few announcements.
